Monthly Coalition Meeting: Prevention Coalition of Greater Prince William

Monthly Coalition Meeting: Prevention Coalition of Greater Prince William

The Prevention Coalition of Greater Prince William is a grassroots, mental health and substance use prevention coalition consisting of individuals from across all 12 Drug Free Community Sectors. We are committed to serving our community through preventative action and cross-sector partnership to reduce morbidity and mortality through strategic community-wide prevention initiatives, coordinated treatment services, and robust recovery options. Our goal as a Community Coalition is to provide information, build skills, provide support for preventative action, enhance access to resources, reduce barriers, change consequences, enforce environmental changes, and ultimately develop policies that will support sustained impact for all.

Our group of concerned residents, professionals, and passionate community advocates meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Interested in becoming a member of our initiative, joining our next meeting or learning more about the impact we’re having in Prince William County?  Contact Coalition Facilitators Wendy Hunt at whunt@pwcgov.org or Heather Martinsen at hmartinsen@pwcgov.org to learn more about how your voice at the table can empower change within our communities and across the state of Virginia!
